The Casa Vecchio Rosemary Biovette are small bread squares carefully crafted for the perfect combination of crunchiness, flavour and fragrance, enlivened here with sharp, savoury rosemary. The traditional manufacturing process, along with the use of superb natural ingredients such as the finest extra virgin olive oil, results in a product that captures the aroma and taste of freshly baked bread. Biovette can be enjoyed by themselves as a simple yet satisfying snack or as a savoury addition to any grazing platter. The name “Biovette” is derived from the Italian word “Biova,” which refers to a traditional loaf of bread from the Piedmont region—unsurprisingly, the home of Biovette.
Family business Casa Vecchio has been producing artisanal breadsticks in Piedmont since 1860. Their breadsticks quickly became so famous throughout the area that long lines of customers waited for the daily baking of the rubatà, inhaling the delicious aromas coming from the oven that wafted hundreds of metres down the road. Six generations on, the family is still honing and refining its baking skills, which are now being enjoyed around the world. The Casa Vecchio passion for quality is evident in every product, including the Casa Vecchio Rosemary Biovette.
