The Gran Baroja Gran Reserva 2011 Red Wine is an exquisite combination of grapes sourced from the highest quality Tempranillo vines, and crafted with an attention to detail and finesse that can only come from this winemaker’s experienced touch. After each harvest, the grapes are destemmed, crushed, and undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks with the Ganimede method, which uses the natural emission of carbon dioxide to keep the flavour intact and the colours vibrant. then the wine is put through a second fermentation, followed by 24 months of ageing in American and French oak barrels before being bottle-aged for a minimum of 36 months, ensuring that every sip is smooth and full of the finest nuances and complexities.
This gem has a super soft mouthfeel with dark cherry & delightful toasted coconut on the palate, good acidity and velvety tannins. this is one to savour – absolute perfection!
