The La Chinata Chilli Flavoured EVOO is made with the company’s own extra virgin olive oil, extracting all of the intense and spicy flavours of the chilli. Use this particular EVOO chilled to highlight all the chilli properties, or, in hot dishes, add at the end of cooking as a final touch to prevent it from warming.
La Chinata started out in 1932 when the Oliva family bought its first olive grove in northern Extremadura. The name La Chinata derives from the word used to describe the residents of Malpartida, the Extremadura village where the Oliva family has its roots. Over the years, the company has expanded from extra virgin olive oil production to the development of beautiful olive oil-based cosmetics and gourmet foods that draw on the natural properties of EVOO, all harking back to the Extremadura region’s incredible natural environment—like the La Chinata Chilli Flavoured EVOO.
