The Brutti e Buoni Cookies are Cordero’s spin on Italy’s famous hazelnut meringue cookies. “Ugly and Good,” this gluten-free treat is made only with hazelnut flour and sugar.
The Cordero family has been crafting and milling grains since 1958. Luigi Cordero launched his company Molino di Borgo San Dalmazzo in 1958 in Italy’s Piedmont to grind local grain for local bakeries. To celebrate their grandfather’s achievement, the family recently rebranded under his name, expanding their range and their markets without losing the integrity, authenticity and goodness that made the original mill so beloved in Borgo San Dalmazzo. The Cordero Brutti e Buoni Cookies are a lovely nod to Italian tradition that perfectly captures Cordero’s intense and abiding “passione italiana.”
