La Chinata Black Sea Salt is made with a mixture of fine salt crystals, a spicy touch of black pepper, and smoky, aromatic charcoal. The intense flavours and aromas team with the crunchy texture for a real gourmet experience. Add it to grilled meat, vegetables and sauces, or try mixing it with dark chocolate for a stunning dessert combination.
La Chinata started out in 1932 when the Oliva family bought its first olive grove in northern Extremadura. The name La Chinata derives from the word used to describe the residents of Malpartida, the Extremadura village where the Oliva family has its roots. Over the years, the company has expanded from extra virgin olive oil production to the development of beautiful olive oil-based cosmetics that draw on the natural properties of EVOO. It now also offers high-end deli products like vinegar, honey and of course the stunning La Chinata Black Sea Salt, all harking back to the Extremadura region’s incredible natural environment.
