La Chinata Porcini and Truffle Spread combines two delicacies with their own unique and intense flavours and aromas to create a great culinary experience. Amazingly versatile, it can be used like a pesto on grilled sandwiches, as seasoning in burger patties, or to add texture and umami on top of creamy cheeses on a cheese board.
La Chinata started out in 1932 when the Oliva family bought its first olive grove in northern Extremadura. The name La Chinata derives from the word used to describe the residents of Malpartida, the Extremadura village where the Oliva family has its roots. Over the years, the company has expanded from extra virgin olive oil production to the development of beautiful olive oil-based cosmetics that draw on the natural properties of EVOO. It now also offers high-end deli products like vinegar, honey and of course the La Chinata Porcini and Truffle Spread, all harking back to the company’s roots in the Extremadura region’s incredible natural environment.
