Casina Rossa’s arrabbiata is made from hand-harvested Abruzzo tomatoes with a bold chilli heat that builds without overpowering. A versatile kitchen staple for restaurants, cafes, and home cooks alike. Ideal tossed through penne or as a punchy base for seafood and meat dishes.
Nestled in the hills of Abruzzo, Italy, Casina Rossa is a family farm with roots going back to the 1960s, when Don Antonio first began transforming his homegrown vegetables into preserved delicacies for family and friends. Today, his son Nicola and wife Paola carry on that tradition — harvesting tomatoes by hand, working without additives, and holding BRC Food and organic certifications. The result is a range of sauces and antipasti that have earned fans across Europe, Australia, Japan, and now New Zealand, where Mediterranean Foods is proud to be the exclusive importer.
