The La Chinata Basil Flavoured EVOO is made with a selection of fresh basil leaves, macerated in La Chinata’s own extra virgin olive oil to draw out that characteristic basil freshness and aroma. Perfect for pasta and fish, not to mention fresh summer salads.
La Chinata started out in 1932 when the Oliva family bought its first olive grove in northern Extremadura. The name La Chinata derives from the word used to describe the residents of Malpartida, the Extremadura village where the Oliva family has its roots. Over the years, the company has expanded from extra virgin olive oil production to the development of beautiful olive oil-based cosmetics and gourmet foods that draw on the natural properties of EVOO, all harking back to the Extremadura region’s incredible natural environment—like the La Chinata Basil Flavoured EVOO.
