Marcona almonds are round, plump, sweet and creamy with just a hint of bitterness. They have been blanched and fried with a touch of salt and olive oil. A perfect finishing touch to dishes or they can be used in sauces such as the traditional Catalan romesco sauce made with almonds, tomatoes, garlic and roasted red peppers. Of course they are also a simple yet satisfying tapa served alongside a glass of wine.
